The RUSH Approach to Wound Care
If you have a hard-to-heal wound or ulcer due to diabetes, vein issues or other causes, we can help you find relief.
At RUSH, we effectively heal more than 95% of the wounds we treat. We also aim to heal your wound as quickly as possible so your quality of life can improve as well.
Our experienced wound care specialists will develop a personalized treatment plan for you based on the type of wound you have, as well as your medical history, diagnostic tests and preferences. Treatments vary but may include medications, skin grafts, skin substitutes, and hyperbaric oxygen treatment (available at our Aurora location).
You will also see your wound specialist on a weekly basis for wound debridement, or removal of dead tissue that hinders wound healing.
