Rush is responsible for ensuring the integrity of care provided to our patients and the non-biased education of our students. As a recipient of federal funding, Rush is also responsible for safeguarding the integrity of research and the welfare of human subjects.
Through appointed committees, Rush reviews relevant external professional relationships of our clinicians, researchers and faculty to ensure that there is no perceived or actual conflict of interest. Rush holds its activities to national best practices, including the standards set by the Association of American Medical Colleges, the National Academies, Health and Medicine Division and the federal government.
