Diabetes A1C Poor Control

Rush reports quality data on many clinical metrics to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) – one of them being Diabetes A1c Poor Control. We do this for reimbursement from CMS as well as for transparent quality reporting to the public.

CMS defines Diabetes A1C Poor Control as the percentage of patients 18-75 years of age with diabetes who had hemoglobin A1c > 9.0% or no hemoglobin A1c test during the measurement period.
