When your child is sick, getting to the doctor can be a challenge. Through Rush video visits, our providers come to you. Video visits are available 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week.
We now offer video visits for novel coronavirus concerns. Start a visit for your child.
Start Your Child’s Virtual Visit
To start your video visit, simply follow the steps below:
- Open MyChart or download the My Rush app, available on the App Store and Google Play. If you already have the app, make sure you are using the latest version.
- Log on to your child’s MyChart account. If you haven’t signed your child up for MyChart, your child’s online health record, you’ll need to do that first. Sign up for MyChart now or in the My Rush app.
- If you’re using MyChart, select Talk to a Doctor for the main menu. If you’re using the My Rush app, navigate to Appointments > On-Demand Video Visits.
- Enter information about your child’s condition and complete the check-in process.
- Within 20 minutes, a prompt will notify you that a pediatric Rush provider is ready to connect.
- Chat one-on-one with a live Rush pediatric provider. Your child must be present for the visit.
- If your child needs prescriptions, we'll send them to your pharmacy of choice.
