We will meet with you within two weeks of your first call to Rush. And, when you qualify for a pancreas transplant, we will put you on the active waiting list within 30 days. We are available 24 hours a day to respond to offers of organs for you.

- Follow-up care where — and when — you need it: After a pancreas transplant, it is important to manage your diet and lifestyle habits to keep your pancreas healthy. While the transplant surgery is done at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, follow-up care is available at a number of Rush locations.

- A support team to carry you through: Our pancreas transplant experts offer support groups to help you learn more about managing diabetes and connect with others to share advice and support.
