The adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at Evanston Hospital is a time-limited, structured psychotherapy program specifically designed to meet the needs of patients who are in need of acute stabilization and intensive skill building to better cope with mental illness. The program provides a structured transition from inpatient treatment and/or operates as an alternative to inpatient psychiatric care when conventional outpatient therapy is not sufficient to stabilize an individual's symptoms.
