Argus MDS: Developing digital tools for diagnosis and treatment monitoring.

Study Protocol Description:

We are working to develop simple technology tools to help make diagnosis and symptom monitoring more accessible and efficient for people with autism or fragile X disorder. The Argus MDS study will use smart glasses and innovative software to automatically detect and monitor important autism-related social communication behaviors. Participation will involve coming to Rush for a research evaluation visit. Families will receive a comprehensive evaluation and compensation for time spent on study activities. There is no cost to participate.

Study Eligibility Criteria:

Your child may be eligible to participate if they meet the following criteria:

  • Are between 18 months and 12 years old.
  • Have either autism or fragile X disorder.
