Erica Arteaga loves helping people. As program and administrative support coordinator at Waterford Place Cancer Resource Center, she has a chance to do that every day.
Arteaga has worked at Waterford Place for nearly five years. She teaches Spanish art classes there and is also responsible for a variety of other functions. Helping participants have a good experience is important to her. She also aims to make sure new participants have a good first impression of Waterford Place.
Seeing the challenges participants face, she wants to help them along their journey.
“I feel like I’m making a difference,” she says.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. But she also enjoys her job and the people she interacts with every day.
“The best part of the job is building those relationships with our participants,” she says.
