Are you looking for a way to show gratitude and support for health care workers during the fight against COVID-19?
Show your heart.
A movement called “Hearts for Health Care Workers” encourages you to display a heart on your front door or window, take a photo and post it on social media. It’s a small way of letting health care workers know they are appreciated.
The movement started when a New Hampshire woman cut out a heart and hung it on her door as a show of support for her husband, an emergency room doctor. She decided to spread the love by posting a photo of the heart on Facebook and asked neighbors to do the same. The page is now trending with thousands of members and posts from around the world.
To participate in this national campaign to thank your local health care workers, print this heart or color this one (a fun activity for children and adults), display it on your front door or window, then take a photo and post it on social media, tagging @rushcopley.
Show your heart and show health care workers that they are appreciated during this unprecedented time – and every day.
