RUSH University College of Nursing continues to be recognized as one of the top nursing schools in the country, earning rankings in the top 5 across all programs, and securing the No. 1 ranking for the Clinical Nurse Leader program and the No. 2 spot for the overall DNP program for the second consecutive year in U.S. News & World Report’s 2023-2024 Best Graduate Schools rankings.
The College of Nursing programs ranked in the top five in eight categories:
- Clinical Nurse Leader, Master’s (No. 1)
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (No. 2)
- Pediatric, Primary Care (No. 2)
- Family Nurse Practitioner (No. 3)
- Psych Mental Health (No. 3)
- Adult Gerontology, Acute Care (No. 4)
- Adult Gerontology, Primary Care (No. 4)
- Nursing Administration (No. 5)
In January, the College of Nursing Master's degree ranked No. 10 in U.S. News’ 2023 Best Online Program list, marking the first time the Generalist Entry Master’s program has been included in the online category.

Five College of Health Sciences programs achieve or retained strong rankings this year, including two top ten programs:
- Health Systems Management (No. 3)
- Audiology – Doctorate (No. 8, ranked 2021)
- Speech-Language Pathology (No. 16, ranked 2021)
- Occupational Therapy (No. 23, ranked 2021)
- Physician Assistant (No. 50)

RUSH Medical College ranks 68th in U.S. News’ Research category, 67th in Primary Care and 58th in Diversity.
