Rush University System for Health, a national leader in patient care, education, research and community partnerships, is opening an outpatient center in Hinsdale to expand primary and specialty care in Chicago’s western suburbs.
RUSH Hinsdale will open at 32 E. 1st St. in early 2024. The 9,900-square-foot center with 17 patient exam rooms will bring primary and specialty care to Hinsdale and surrounding suburbs — including reproductive endocrinology and infertility care. Appointments will be available to be scheduled later this year.
“In opening the Hinsdale center, RUSH continues to increase services and access to patients across the Chicago area,” said Paul Casey, MD, MBA, chief medical officer and senior vice president at RUSH University Medical Center. “RUSH is expanding and enhancing patient access not only through our more than 30 outpatient locations, but also digitally, with several virtual care options.”
The Hinsdale center complements nearby RUSH Oak Brook, which offers primary care and nearly 20 specialties. RUSH’s strong presence in the western suburbs, which includes extensive outpatient and hospital services in Aurora and Oak Park, will be enhanced by expanded cancer care in a new Lisle location. RUSH programs, including cancer care, are ranked among the best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
In Chicago, RUSH recently received approval to open a 60,000-square-foot multi-specialty care facility at the intersection of North and Harlem avenues in the Galewood neighborhood, adjacent to Oak Park and Elmwood Park. The center will join several convenient locations, such as in Chicago’s River North, South Loop, West Loop neighborhoods and in Munster, Indiana.
