RUSH University Medical Center recently celebrated our annual Founders Day — a time to recognize the outstanding contributions of the medical center community and its history.  
 
From helping create a healing garden to mentoring staff to positions of leadership, RUSH recognized dozens of employees this Founders Day for going above and beyond.   

Here are this year’s winners:  

Clinical Employee of the Year: 

  • Christine Spaletto, senior art therapist, Department of RUSH Day Hospital/Psychiatry 
  • Alison Haus, LCSW, care manager, Department of Ambulatory Care Management 

Non-Clinical Employee of the Year: 

  • Thomas Molina, manager, Financial Operations, Department of Community Health Equity and Engagement 
  • Mallory Elias, support tech, Department of Surgery 

Manager of the Year: 

  • Kristin Boyce, RN, research manager, Department of Neurological Sciences 
  • Melissa Browning, director, Professional Nursing Practice & Magnet Program, Department of Professional Nursing Practice 

Team of the Year:
