Rush Medical Group President Luis A. Garcia, MD, MBA, FACS, is among Crain's Chicago Business' Notable Latino Leaders for 2024.

In its profile, Crain’s credited Garcia with championing Rush's "value-based initiatives,” including systemwide integration, health equity and population health.
Garcia oversees Rush Medical Group's 1,000-plus physicians and 400 advanced practice providers in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
He is responsible for Rush’s growth and advances in clinical innovation and operational efficiencies, as well as the integration of all Rush-employed physicians into a unified multispecialty medical group.
