Clinical Trial Protocol Description:

The ON-DEQ study at Rush University Medical Center is testing the roles of different treatment components to help people increase their readiness to quit smoking. All study participants receive counseling sessions with a Tobacco Treatment Specialist, and may also receive nicotine replacement therapies such as lozenges and patches. Participants will also complete assessments about their smoking. 

Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria:

In order to participate you must meet the following criteria:

  • Are currently a smoker.
  • Are over 18 years of age.
  • Live in the United States.
  • Have a smart phone to complete the study assessments.
