ALLIANCE: Balloon-Expandable Bioprosthetic SAPIEN X4 Transcatheter Heart Valve

This study is to assess if the SAPIEN X4 Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) is beneficial for people with symptomatic, severe, calcific aortic stenosis.

In order to participate you must meet the following criteria:

• Are at least 18 years of age.
• Have severe, calcific aortic stenosis. 

You will be excluded from the study if any of the following criteria apply to you:

• Have a pre-existing mechanical or bioprosthetic valve.
• Have an intracardiac mass, thrombus or vegetation evidenced through cardiac imaging.
• Have renal insufficiency.
• Have had a stroke within the past 90 days.
