Patient Care Technician (PCT) Apprentice Program: This 4-week, tuition-free Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program at Valparaiso University offers the chance to earn while you learn. You'll gain full-time employment as a PCT apprentice with practical training onsite at Rush and, upon completion of the program, have the opportunity to transition into a PCT position within the Rush system. A high school diploma or GED is required, and you must be 18 years old by Aug. 21, 2024. Join one of the virtual information sessions to learn more or contact us at cpr_rush@rush.edu.

Nursing Apprenticeship Program - Rush Nurse externship program: Nurse apprentices are nursing students hired into the eight-week-long summer student nurse externship program at Rush University Medical Center. The program supports our West Side anchor mission and increases the diversity of our workforce by recruiting candidates from underrepresented minority groups, better reflecting the communities we serve.
