Modern Healthcare has named John Rich, MD, Harrison I. Steans director of the RUSH BMO Institute for Health Equity, to its 2024 class of Diversity Leaders in Healthcare.
Rich is being recognized for his work as the first director of the RUSH BMO Institute for Health Equity, where he leads Rush’s health equity strategic plan.
The list names leaders who have taken action to make a difference, with a focus on the health care industry’s approach to diversity, equity and inclusion.
The magazine recognizes this area of focus “as organizations face ongoing financial, regulatory and political uncertainty. Deep divides endure in patient outcomes and access — and those recognized as part of Modern Healthcare's Diversity Leaders awards program are working to address such disparities.”
