We know the demands of everyday life don’t stop when you or your loved ones are in the hospital. At our Rush system hospitals, you'll have access to a number of convenient business services to help you keep up with your life and work when you're here.

Rush University Medical Center

Notary public

We offer free notary public services. For a notary, please visit the Patient Access Department in the Atrium, Suite 415, or call (312) 942-5967.

Mail services and stamps

If you need to mail something, there are mailboxes located on the fourth floor of the Atrium near the guest relations desk and outside the Rush University Bookstore, 600 S. Paulina St., Chicago, 60612. You can also purchase stamps at the Rush University Bookstore.

We deliver mail to all of the patient care units, Monday through Friday.

Faxes and photocopies

If you need to fax something or make photocopies, ask any staff member in any department for assistance. Or, if you are on the fourth floor in the Atrium, visit the Office of Volunteer Services for assistance.

Newspapers

You can purchase a newspaper from the newspaper dispensers located near the pedestrian bridges just inside the parking garage located on the fourth-floor Atrium.

If you are a patient staying in the hospital, we can deliver the newspaper to your room, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. To make this request, contact the Office of Volunteer Services at (312) 942-5574.

Rush Copley Medical Center

Notary public

We offer free notary public services on weekdays. Rush Copley Medical Center asks that family members, friends or legal counsel serve as witnesses for legal transactions. For a notary, please call extension 4826 from any hospital phone.

Mail service

If you are a patient staying in the hospital, you can send and receive mail through Volunteer Services. To send a letter or package, please ask a nurse on your unit floor to assist. For friends and family members who want to send mail to your patient care room, please have them send it to the address below:

Newspapers

If you are a patient staying in the hospital, newspapers can be delivered to your patient room if requested. To make this request, please ask a nurse to assist.

Rush Oak Park Hospital

Mail services and stamps

If you need to mail something, there is a mailbox located outside the entrance of Rush Oak Park Hospital, 520 S. Maple Ave., Oak Park, 60304.

To purchase stamps, please visit our front desk or our gift shop — both are located in the main lobby of the hospital.
