This doctor was recommended by a friend who sees her and she definitely is great. It hard finding a doctor you like after switching insurances and hospitals, but I really liked Simmons, she listened to me and made me feel validated and offered options that fit within my insurance (which is always nice, like she made sure I was aware of where to go so I couldn't be charged extra) and she gave me future options should I decide

Dr. Simmons' concern for my success has been steadfast. She has been relentless in advocating 4 my health; doing so with risk mitigation, strategy, & grace. Thru her my care team has been expanded to include not only gyne health but cardiology, urogyne, physical therapy, mental health, primary care, & neurology. Shared-decision making has been @ the forefront of my MENAPAUSE care. Risks, benefits, & alternatives are discussed @ each visit. Her follow up has been AMAZING; circling back on prior visits to secure plan of care progression. She has been self-directed in educating herself RE my CP which has had an impact on my MENAPAUSAL care. She strives to stay abreast of the latest research, treatment options, & access RE my care. She encourages self-advocacy and accountability; allowing for both a comfortable environment to disclose the unknown while also supporting my efforts to advocate for myself. I HAVE recommended her to many.

I recently moved to downtown Chicago and I still make the commute here to be seen by dr Simmons. She is simply the best, she is very welcoming and attentive to her patients.

Dr. Simmons has provided me w/ the FACTS RE my health. FACTs which in turn aide in shared decision-making RE my care. Risk mitigation discused in detail. Highly recommend 2 others. Especially disabled females. Care individulization has been made a priority; incuding securing additional time & staff when necessary to ensure my needs are met 4 a successful experience; in turn lending to positive outcome.
