The volunteers at RUSH Oak Park Hospital play an important role by supporting our staff, and helping our patients and visitors, and serving the community. Our volunteers include students, retirees and residents.

Requirements for Volunteering
If you’re 18 or older: We ask that you commit to at least six months in your volunteer position, with a minimum of one four-hour shift per week. Short-term and project-based volunteer positions are periodically available to qualified applicants.
If you’re a high school student: Volunteer positions are available only during the summer months.
Please note: We do not offer shadowing or observation opportunities through Volunteer Services. Also, we do not accept applicants who live further than 12 miles from our facility.
